I have spent more than 30 years learning to tell a genuine piece from a well-made lie. That knowledge is the service.

What it costs

$20 per bayonet, paid in advance, to identify and appraise. I quote larger collections by the hour; tell me roughly how many pieces you have and I will give you an estimate.

Before you send anything

• Do not email photographs or large attachments. The secure intake form will control image uploads.
• If your bayonet is for sale, say so. I would often rather buy it.
• The $20 fee will be shown again before you submit the appraisal form.
